Letter from the President

Boo! October is here which means scary ghosts and goblins are about! They're getting ready for the biggest night of the month - TSDC Halloween Party! Start putting your costume together and join the party on October 31st. We are going to have a great time!

The 25th Anniversary Party was a blast, and it was fun as well as educational at the same time. Great potluck food and wonderful stories about the growth of the "Club". It was a special, historical, moment to have Mayor Bob Walkup proclaim the fourth Thursday of the month as "West Coast Swing Day"! Special thanks goes to our past VP Alex Kosiorek for his assistance in making the proclamation a reality. Officially the Anniversary Party will be the TSDC Birthday Party from now on!

Be sure to thank Linda De La Torre, Jim Davis, Hondo Velasco, and Jane Morgan for representing our club at the Armory Center Benefit. It was quite a show with many dancers strutting their stuff! My favorite were our dancers of course!

I you like to dance, check out the Happy Hour this month at the Holidome! We are swinging in the early evening and salsa dancing afterwards! What fun! That reminds have you purchased you club shirt to wear at these functions?

A call goes out to the membership. We need volunteers for upcoming events Just takes a little of your time to help us all out. Check in at the front desk if you are interested.

Holiday Party tickets are now on sale! $25 per ticket which is less than last year if you get them early. At the door the cost is $35, so don't wait.
