Below are the additional proposed changes
to the club bylaws. The specific section is listed showing what it states
now, and what the modification would look like. Per the bylaw modification
procedure, described in section 7.01C, the change is posted in the newsletter
for all members review, for a minimum three weeks prior to the board voting
on the modification. Please read and contact any board member regarding
questions and comments. All modifications will be voted on in the April
board meeting.
Add the 1991 bylaw origination date in the title, along with the revision dates listed previously.
Add the new section eight pertaining to
the club web site. The complete section follows.

8.01 - Member Privacy
A. Personal Membership Data
The only personal member information
which is allowed to be stored on the site, as well as displayed in a web
browser, is the TSDC member number and Jack and Jill points. A member's
phone number, home address, e-mail address, full name, age, etc. will not
be stored in any file on the web site. A member's first name may appear
in the newsletter, next to relevant material (e.g. a photograph).
B. E-mail addresses
The web site has e-mail addresses for
certain elected positions, as well as a general e-mail address for any
additional site and/or club messages. The elected positions having dedicated
e-mail accounts are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Member e-mail addresses are not intended for web site use (see part A above
for more details).
Section
8.02 - Web Site Content
A. The web site content will be West
Coast Swing, general dancing information, related dance information, and
TSDC information.
B. The content will be subject to approval
by at least the Newsletter Editor and/or the President. In the event of
disagreement, the board will have the opportunity to vote on the approval
in the next board meeting. Refer to bylaw section 3.05 for additional details
regarding scheduled board meetings.
