Bylaw Modifications Part Two

Below are the additional proposed changes to the club bylaws. The specific section is listed showing what it states now, and what the modification would look like. Per the bylaw modification procedure, described in section 7.01C, the change is posted in the newsletter for all members review, for a minimum three weeks prior to the board voting on the modification. Please read and contact any board member regarding questions and comments. The modification will be voted on in the next administration, probably in the May 2003 meeting. If approved, this amendment would be effective starting in May 2004.
 

Section 2.06 B., modify the section and delete the letter c. The sentences starting with, "Persons whose membership ..." shall be modified to describe the new due date of April first, changed from six months. The last two sentences will read Persons whose membership had been terminated in this way shall be deemed to be new members if they subsequently rejoin the Club after April first. Payment of annual dues prior to April first will be retroactive to the original annual renewal date and will allow the member to retain their original membership number.
